The primary need of the client, a luxury yacht charter company, was the identification of a service company capable of supporting it in the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of on-board control and monitoring systems. In this sense, the contact between the rental company and IDEA was linked to the need to restore the system following a malfunction in the alarm generation system. The intervention took place on the coasts of Central America with a few days’ notice.
From a general point of view, within the nautical sector, IDEA deals with the development and restoration of boat supervision systems that provide for the monitoring of the following parameters:
- Motor parameters
- Electric generator parameters
- Clutch temperatures and exhaust fumes
- Ventilation and conditioning systems
- Energy backup systems
- Control of fuel and / or liquid levels in general
- Control of security systems
- Control of supervisory systems
