IDEA is the new QbRobotics System Integrator in Italy
We are pleased to inform you that we have signed an agreement with qbrobotics and have become Official System Integrator in Italy.
Qbrobotics is an Italian company founded in 2011 as a research and development company active in the field of robotics as a manufacturer of innovative devices that implement soft-robotics technology such as robotic hands, grippers for robots and cobots, handles, Robot KITs and VSA actuators.
The constant search for innovation in the field of robotics and automation has led qbrobotics to internalize all production processes and to create its own robotics laboratory – qblab – where the testing phase is carried out and where the new product lines are developed.
The sectors in which it operates are:
- Industry: qbrobotics started the industrial business unit in early 2018 to offer industrialized versions of qb SoftHand to users currently using collaborative robots in their production and test lines.
- Research and Education: in this field it supplies two products (the VSA modular actuator and a robotic hand – qb SoftHand Research) to research institutes, universities, schools and research and development departments of private and public companies.
- Biomedical: is making an anthropomorphic artificial hand that is used for prosthetic and rehabilitation activities by research institutes.
In recent years qbrobotics has consolidated its presence especially on the foreign market.
Its goal now is to extend its network also in Italy, where the drive for innovation is increasingly a need and a tangible reality, even in the soft robotics field.

The partnership will strengthen the presence of qbrobotics in Italy also in the industrial field, guaranteeing highly professional support for innovative projects customized according to the specific needs of the customer thanks to our contribution as its System Integrator.
