Thermal desalination plant

Description: Construction of a small-sized thermal desalination plant, usable in pleasure boats, for the production of a sufficient quantity of fresh water for a crew of 4, which uses thermal energy deriving from a 1 kWe Stirling cogenerator. The system thus conceived makes it possible to produce electricity and fresh water on board a small boat.

The desalination plant was conceived and designed to work in certain conditions controlled by the use of thermal energy derived from the engine cooling circuit.
